Bóthar Patron, Mick Lally, dies, aged 64
Bóthar would like to extend its sympathies to the Lally family on the death of Mick Lally, today, Monday, August 31st 2010.
Mick became involved with Bóthar in 2000 and was involved in promoting the work of the charity for the past 10 years.
Speaking at Bóthar’s Head Office today, Peter Ireton, Chief Executive, Bóthar expressed these words after learning of Mick’s passing. “We were all very saddened to hear about Mick’s death. I think he was one of the most well-known patrons. Indeed, every year we get letters personally addressed to Mick. We will miss him and we would like to extend our sympathies to Mick’s wife Peggie and his three children, Saileog, Darach and Maghnus,” he said.
