Pat McCarrick, Fundraising Projects Director with Bóthar in the company of fellow participant, Eithne O’Connell from Dublin at the start of the 2010 Bogrtotters Marathon.
The inaugural running of the Bogtrotters Marathon took place at Strokestown in Co. Roscommon on 24th July. Bóthar were the number one charity associated with the event. This new marathon was the brainchild of Katriona Byrne, a native of Carlow but now living the Strokestown area.
The event was a great success attracting runners and walkers from all over Ireland including many people who took on fundraising in support of Bóthar.
