About the Draw:

Each year at the start of the Summer we offer donors the chance to join the Supporters Club Draw.

The Supporters Draw is a fun and exciting way to make a donation and, with each entry of €75, you will be in with a chance to win in each one of our six draws which will be taking place over the coming twelve months.

Last year the Supporters Club Draw raised €198,250 in entries out of which €34,540 was given back in prize money and the remaining €163,710 was used to assist poor families in developing countries. What will your support will achieve?

This year the proceeds of the Supporters Club Draw will be channeled towards expanding our Artificial Insemination Programmes in the Developing World.

After meeting with many farmer community groups in our project countries and having consulted with livestock experts both at home and across our developing countries, it has been decided to increase our emphasis on Artificial Insemination in the coming years. Since our beginning we have always been actively involved in A.I. as a means of up grading the productivity of our family micro farming units. In this work we have received great support from A.I stations all over Ireland. The Irish Veterinary NGO, V.I.V.A., together with many A.I. men from Ireland has provided associated training programmes for us in many countries over the years. The A.I. programme has been a vital component in the development of Bóthar projects in several countries and has given tens of thousands of families that wonderful opportunity to improve their housing, education and healthcare and most importantly, to do it for themselves.

With the ever increasing costs of animal transport and the shrinking economy our accelerated emphasis on Artificial Insemination will allow us to continue at the rate of development which we have been building up to over the years.

Please support this important work by joining the draw.
